All these classic metal bands are topping charts! It’s amazing seeing art be noticed, all the while tool blew my mind for releasing a single and having it hit number one on ITunes after years on not releasing a single song. Amazing year for metal, and rock.

    The whole album is 🔥🔥🤘🏻
  • Helluva good album

    By KillThePuppets
Such a great album, probably top 3 for me. I like the experimentation of aggressive vocals like that of the early albums and how it works with the calmer choruses. The riffs keep banging as usual 🤘🤘definitely a great one for sure.
  • A Front-To-Back Masterpiece

I *love* this album. There are a wide variety of moods and themes throughout We Are Not Your Kind, and the tracks all compliment each other by flowing from one into the next. My one and only issue is that it doesn’t feel like it has as much substance when played on shuffle, as three of the tracks are interludes. However, on a front-to-back listen, We Are Not Your Kind shines as one of Slipknot’s best works (in my opinion).
  • Amazing

Did anyone else shed a tear when they heard the chorus of critical darling? Corey Taylor is a master vocalist.

This album is so bad, when I bought it, I literally drove over it with my car because it is such trash. Don’t even think about buying this trash
  • Thank you, Slipknot.

I love this album. I’ve only really listened to two other albums, but out of all the other music that I listen to, I will listen to this album on repeat for HOURS!! My favs are easily Not Long for This World, Solway Firth, and Unsianted. I love the fact that Cory Taylor had a choir sing with him in Unsianted. And the ending Not Long for This World, it gives me goosebumps. Love it. Then, when Cory Taylor is being super eerie at the beginning of Solway Firth, then when he starts to scream, I just love it. Thank you, Slipknot, for giving me this amazing album.

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
