Reviews For Whitney: The Greatest Hits By Artist Whitney Houston

  • Woooooooow

The greatest voice of all time. 😅 it can’t get better than Whitney. Beyoncé can’t even sing that good. 👎 maybe Adele but I think Whitney is so much open an out there. I wish she hadn’t pass away . So we can have more of her jaw dropping songs. I would buy or maybe steal her songs they might cost billions of dollar for just one ☝️ song since there so excellent. My point is she’s good okay. Wait.... she better than good but I thing you gotten my confusion. Anyway if you looking for an song from Whitney.. definitely go with I will always love you 😍.

  • I was disappointed

They remixed all the classics on this album. I hate ghat they did that.
  • ‘I will always love you’

Written and originally sang by Dolly Parton and covered by Whitney. it’s a wonderful cover. Awesome greatest hits album but not liking the remixs

I love this song so much
  • Wanted the originals

    By AnAleatoricMuse
Thought this would have the original versions but the last half of the album is remixes. You can’t see more than the title when browsing the iTunes Store on your phone so I had no idea they weren’t the original versions. I would have rather bought all the albums separately had I known.
  • You had to be there

    By Chuck Jeffers
This must be a rerelease on iTunes. If you had the original you would see the remixes. When Whitney released an album, it was an event. And this one was IT when it came out. Her songs connect to my whole life. So glad I lived during her time. I remember buying “Whitney” with my allowance and listening to her over and over. Still miss that life force. I have always thought of her as sort of the Gen X Judy Garland. In recent memory, IMO, there is Judy, Barbra & Whitney. The greatest voices, the greatest performers. Like Judy & Barbra, Whitney’s interpretation of a song was wholey hers.
  • Remixed yuk

Nowhere does it say these are remixed songs NOT what I want

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
