Reviews For Silver Landings By Artist Mandy Moore

  • Beautiful, Beautiful Album 💛🤎🧡

    By Timothy Hocum
What a wonderful return for Mandy Moore. Over 10 long years I waited between her last album Amanda Leigh and this album Silver Landings. The name “Silver Landings,” according to Moore, “Silver Landings is the ultimate idea of grounded purpose in a silver lining...” I interpret this as; a silver lining is seeing the best of situation and trying to figure out WHAT you want to do with your life. A silver landing is still seeing the best of situation, but KNOWING what you want to do and seeing your purpose in life. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and knowing the goal you want to achieve. I personally love that name of the album as I myself am still looking for my own “Silver Landing.” This is a great album. The whole album from start to finish is mesmerizing. If I had to pick a few of my favorites I’d say listen to: - Save A Little For Yourself - Tryin’ My Best, Los Angeles - Easy Target - Stories Reminding Myself of Me - Silver Landings But really, do yourself a favor and listen to the album in its entirety. It’s truly amazing.
  • Exactly what I love about Mandy Moore

    By RissieTheReject
I remember way back when she released her record Coverage and I thought “Well, this is just perfect. She sounds amazing with this kind of music”. I feel like this record she absolutely shines. I’m sad I’m so late to the game getting this! She along with her band backing her sound fantastic. Love it so much!
  • Simply Amazing combination on Albums: Wild Hope & Mandy Moore

    By qpineda1985
This albums is simply amazing! It gives me vibes that if “Wild Hope” Had a baby with her second Album “Mandy Moore” but for the Mandy Moore album left out the over poppy songs like In my Pocket, Yo-Yo and Split Chick but kept the timeless soothing songs like Only took a minute, Crush, Cry and When I Talk to you. Which to be honest, I grew up listening to Mandy and have always ported her old albums but the more demur and less poppy songs have always stayed in rotation in my music, even as an adult. Definitely more exciting than Amanda Leigh and I am overly excited to listen to this album on a constant. It hits perfectly. A sweet 10 tracks and not boring at all. I literally can’t skip a track. Great album! I just really hope I don’t have to wait another 11 years for another album lol. In any regard I am very happy she is back on the scene. My review took a few months to write because I just can’t jump the gun on reviews. I prefer letting albums settle in and this one has just been an album played since release and continues to be played. Which is funny because there have been so many albums I’ve bought since March and this along with maybe 1 possibly 2 others are still the only ones I can consistently listen to.

Mandy sounds incredible and real. Such an enjoyable album to listen to. I love the title track especially. Definitely worth the listen and purchase!
  • Better than Ever!

    By HeatherInBoston
This album is so honest, raw, and beautiful! I could honestly listen to the title track on repeat for hours. I’ve been a fan of Mandy’s since her debut album and it has been wonderful to see her evolution as an artist and a song writer. I love the rich, melodic tone of her voice. It’s a nice reminder that studios don’t need to homogenize a voice to within an inch of its life to create a great record. “Wild Hope” and “Coverage” always make road trip playlists of mine and this album has will be perfect for weekend road trips to New England with the family.
  • Amazing

Totally diffrent, very original, raw talent without all the autotune most performers use. I love the entire album. Itunes needs to work on the way they classified music. This is very good but not alternative.
  • Stunning

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
