Saw TFF in person a couple of weeks ago and they are the whole package. Amazing vocals, great band with plenty of well-loved classics they could have leaned on all night long but their new album is so very good. Very rare to hear new magic in a band with forty years under their belt. Quickly becoming my favorite album from these two. See Tears For Fears Live!
Mediocre release

I'm a long-time Tears fan. Was very much looking forward to this release. After repeated listening, I think its just OK. A few-not many-good tracks. Its a little dull and unremarkable. They are capable of much more.
Great return

This album is great. Some old sound and some new sound. Both Roland and Curt’s voices sound amazing. The tracks also have some deep lyrics not just pop garbage. I also saw them live and they did not disappoint. Glad to see good quality music even 40 years later.
beautiful

We just saw them in Denver. Was looking forward to all the great oldies, but truly moved by so much of their new music. Lovely melodies and some really haunting lyrics. They've made beauty from pain.

Saw them last night in Phoenix, they rocked! They played 7 songs from the new album and it and they sounded great.

This album was purchased after just exiting the concert. The songs were preformed and are amazing. Have been a fan and followed them for years. Absolutely amazing work, and the whole band contributed to it. Fantastic
Advice for the young at heart

The Tipping Point is both poignant and hopeful. Tears for Fears goes through phases of musical evolution, its first one being Seeds of Love which was a total departure from their previous albums. This album is this decade’s Seeds of Love. There’s a certain sound to their music in this album – and I can’t seem pick it out. If anything, reflective. Whatever personal and private pains they were experiencing during the creating of this album, it resonates within and throughout each song. I was more than tempted in wishing I was a third-party witness to the creation of “Rivers of Mercy” – there is great pain behind it with a sense of apprehensive forgiveness. I have nothing but absolute great things to say about The Tipping Point. There is a journey one would miss by not experiencing this album. Well done, Roland and Curt.
“If you lay among the graves, you will see other ghosts.” Just WOW.
