If you’re wanting the dark heavy sounds of FTM first two albums, Lungs and Ceremonials, then this album may not be for you. I love FTM, bought every album. However this one wasn’t for me. Sounds like a continuation of High as Hope.

This has to be my favorite album released this year. As a whole it feels carefully crafted and cohesive. 10/10!
  • Impeccable

Florence always finds a way to elevate her artistry and this album perfectly showcases that.
  • Nothing like My Love

When My Love was released I was so happy. DJs indicated Dance Fever was going to be a dance album and I could hardly wait. None of the songs are as upbeat or fast paced as My Love. Album is typical work for her. Pass though, really not what I was hoping for. She has not evolved.

It takes time to process all the sounds and lyrical content. I’m still not there yet, but from what I have processed so far, Florence + The Machine has reached a new atmosphere.

  • Mesmerizingly Brilliant Work of Art.

Wow. This is beyond words. Florence took me out of reality with this album. Wow, just wow.
  • Wow. What an incredible album.

For me the absolute standout is The Bomb; it has a lot less of the musical swells typical to FATM songs, but the lyrics more than make up for it. The lines “Unavailability is the only thing that turns you on” and the whole chorus from “I’ve blown apart my life for you” to “I don’t love you, I just love the bomb” to “Sometimes you get the good, sometimes you get the song” —- the whole thing sent shivers through my soul. I’m also obsessed with King, Choreomania, and Daffodil. It’s a chaotic album of anger & devastation and one that really confronts the joys and dangers of letting your art be so much of who you are.
  • YES!

The way I audibly screamed when “Dream Girl Evil” starting playing. This album is pure witchcraft and I’m obsessed! Daffodil is a masterpiece ♥️

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
