Reviews For Mars By Artist GACKT

  • Gackt forever!

    By OutlawRaven
Learned about Gackt through FFVII and I will say he is now one of my favorite artist. I am an English speaker but still the emotions in his songs still speak to me and keep me addicted to his voice. Wish iTunes had his newest album and the full version of Crescent but I am happy that iTunes has him. Thank you Gackt for singing and sharing your music with us!! This album and Diabolos are the two I would suggest to a newbie, but if you want more acoustic like music that would be Love Letter which is another amazing album.

itunes really need to put all the tracks on here. I had the album special ordered from Japan and itunes didn't put all the track up on the US. I don't know if anyone has released that yet ,but if not here are the tracks its missing 13. Mi'zerable (Mars vers.) 14. Story (Mars vers.) 15. Leeca (Mars vers.) 16. blue (piano solo) 17. uncertain memory (Mars vers.) 18. Seki Rei ~Seki -ray~ (Mars vers) and by the way the special versions are amazing.
  • OMGZERS!!!!!!!

I love how he can shift from calm to rock! Yesterday, me and my sister were reading about him in shojo beat! I'm so happy they chose him for Gakupo (Gackpoid on iTunes)! I wonder if he is the best looking man alive... This CD is a must-have for all Gackto lovers!
  • Great addition to the itunes library... and it could be yours!

Gackt's first and best album! No one can go wrong purchasing this collection of classics that showcases his range and talent. Freesia OP1&2 are beautiful and Vanilla... is just amazing. Thank you itunes for adding Gackt!
  • Sorry

I heard one of their songs that was an instrumental and I thought it was amazing, but I was not as impressed with any of these songs on this album.
  • The Best Gackt Album

    By Anatomie
This is definitely the best Gackt album because it displays him and his music at the height of his solo career, indeed at the height of Visual Kei all together. Everything else he has produced has failed to match the beauty and balance of this tiny glimpse of perfection. If you have to buy only one, get this one.

    By ReUnborn
Really this guy got me interested in Japanese Rock in the first place, and this is just a great example of what he can do. All of this is awesome, but it's just the crazy violin parrts that really won me over. Highly reccomended for anyone who likes rock, anyone who likes Japanese culture, or any person in general.
  • I can't believe it

    By Jackzilla
This album is GREAT!! It's what got me started on Gackt and I just can't believe you can get it on iTunes now! That's awesome but I wish these had been avaiable back when I first got into Gackt! OASIS is hands down my all time favorite Gackt song. Definitely check it out!

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
