  • Still Amazing

Despite Amaia's departure, this is still an amazing album. Leire's voice comes close to Amaia's, although she can't be too rough with it or hit as many high notes as Amaia could with her powerful voice, but Leire does an exceptional job. It's sad that Amaia left, and although the album would have been a firey sensation if she would have stayed, Leire made the album shine, nonetheless. The lyrics are as rhythmic as always and every track is more than just music to a person's ears. This is why I admire this band so much. Their lyrics are so poetic and heart-reaching; they speak the truth about life at times and make a person feel so in tune with them. When I first heard "El Ultimo Vals" back when it came out as a single (2008, I think), I honestly thought it was Amaia's debut single as a solo artist (because I had seen on a newspaper headline about that report). I was mistaken and was relieved to know that it was LODVG. Every song will get you to feel some kind of positive emotion, whether it'd be to dance, to sing on the top of your lungs, both, or simply enjoy. You will not regret this purchase. Buy it. I didn't even need to hear the other songs to buy the cd because I am a loyal LODVG fan and will buy anything that is theirs, but if you are a beginner with their music, buy the cd. Anywhere you start is a great introduction to the band. :D

This is not also a romantic song but it also tells a powerful story. A story that happens a the train station, the same day the terrorist's attacks in Madrid took place on March 11 (3/11). During the peak of Madrid rush hour on the morning of Thursday, 11 March 2004, ten explosions[28] occurred aboard four commuter trains (cercanías). The date led to the popular abbreviation of the incident as “11-M”. THURSDAY = JUEVES (in Spanish). Just beautiful!

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
