  • Huh?

Most of you guys that have commented how awesome this album is must be new to Trance or any sort of Electronica. Most of the songs here have been in other great Trance albums a few years back. Airtight and Diamondback was already remixed by none other than Paul Oakenfold himself on two great discs. LOL! Strange to have Dreaming by BT also in the mix This is by no means a guud CD. If you have listened to Trance for quite a long time, you already have most of these songs in far better mixes than this rubbish. Although I'll probably buy it because I'm a fan of Tiesto...

Why does the top say 4 stars of every review is 5 stars?
  • 5 stars for Tiësto, 1 Star for iTunes

    By DJCranston
This is a fantastic compilation perfect for late summer nights and parties, or just to zone out to. But what is a disgrace is how iTunes first put out this mix. With more than half of the original pieces missing, and for them to republish this as if it is brand new on their e-mail newsletters for new music tuesdays, is just insulting for Tiësto. I understand that the American iTunes store doesn't generate a lot of it's sales from Dance music, but at least show a little more respect and distribute it the right way the first time. Once again i say Tiësto is fantastic, but this is another iTunes mix-up.

  • The True Tiesto

    By vitor747
The True Tiesto, All you people that "love" Tiesto's latest albun Kaleidoscope, have a listen to this one. This is the sound of the true Tiesto that we love and will never forget. I hope this release of Itunes of a record that was released in 2000 (10 Years ago) is not to mask the latest "masterpiece" (Kaleidoscope). Tijs, I still believe in you so, lets put the last release in the past. Give us something that really resembles your true sound that took us in an incredible journey that I will never forget. A REAL Fan from P.R.

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
