I got this song for free when she put up a download link on her Facebook page. It's a great country song! It's nice that she's still writing good music.

did u people even listen to the lyrics?? shes no way trying to be serious and political in saying we should have a woman in the white house, then having a cover like that and ruining woman...blah blah blah.. soha probably would review alice coopers Elected as a seroius political song that degrades true blue patriotic americans...blah blah.geeze, people, its a sweet little cool country song written in the same vain as classic dolly and loretta wen they sang about feminine power. we all know your 1 star review will in no way change anyones idea whether to buy this song or not, but man, some people just like to toot their own horn so they can read it back and feel intelligent! (i know i dont sound intelligent, but that review was so silly i just had to speak up) when i read that one star review i was thinking"oh man crow went all political. so lame. i just want to hear her sweet voice singing one of her cool well written songs" guess what, this is her sweet song singing one of her cool well written songs. ok love you all peace...

I get what some of you are saying, but boy, I thought the liberation movement made many different ways for a woman to be herself. Sounds like those early libers that only wanted it one way. I like the legs, but then I am a man. And I like the idea of a woman in the White House because they would hopefully have a different way of thinking about war, and politics. After reading some of the comments, I am wondering if it would just be more of the same, but with a different slant. I was hoping for far more diversity that what I am reading here. Maybe Sheryl should run?

I think it's def not her best but I've DL the song. We women have allowed men to run our country and they always seem to make a mess of things. I think it's time to move over boys and lets us show you how it's done. :)
  • Keep Your Politics to Yourself

Besides the stupid lyrics, the entire song is just horrible. And Sheryl who are you going to put? Clinton who got rich on all of the middle class and would make us all servants?
  • It's Time!!!

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
