I love the album. Sarah sounds outstanding! Not sure what these NY Times want-a-be music critics are talking about with there negative comments. I have had this CD for months now and if Sarah Brightman's music is of interest to you, BUY it, it's worth the money.

I attended Sarah’s concert back in October 2013 and was under the impression that I would receive a complimentary download of the Dreamchaser cd with paid admission to her concert. Well, that never happened and I had to purchase the album off of iTunes. I really like Kaze No Torimichi, and appreciate Venus and Mars and Angel, but the rest of the songs seem somewhat bland and uninspiring to me. I really enjoyed her Symphony album. I think she does best when singing the classics like Intermezzo for example. This album is a departure.
  • mastered for itunes ?

by whom ? It sounds dead. I previewed it over and over again trying to convince myself to buy it, - but could not do it to my ears. What a shame. Sound engineer should be fired! If album will be re-mastered I would be willing to preview it again.
  • Something Different than her usual

    By IvoryRoseM
This particular album is different than her usual building dramatic flare. Its lovely and smooth and best listened to on 11. I know.. seems weird, but this album is amazing on a hi-def system turned up loud. Mind bending and just lovely. You miss a lot if you aren't listening on a high quality system. I almost bypassed this album listening over my computer speakers. I thought, wow.. weak. But I bought it and put it through my home stereo. Competely different feel. I really like it. Its not the same as Sarah's usual, but its so worth the trip.
  • Huntling beautiful

    By emh21
Although this is another side of Sarah that most people wont expect, is one the most beautiful and uniquely sound and lyrical album with different pallets but containing the same mood giving you an imaginary vision of life and the universe.
  • Best To Date

    By Holllyrock
I love nearly everything that Sarah has done, however, this is her best produced album by far. She takes us on a journey into her dream of space travel like no other. The tranquility and the excitement are contagious and I loved going on this journey with her. This is not her usual forum, and although I love Eden and Harlem, this is an album that builds upon itself from song to song to make it an all time classic.
  • Awesome Anime

I like I how she expanded and did a Miyazaki film song. I hope she can do more.

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
