I was 18 when this album came out. That's when I became a huge fan! Brings back so many fond memories.

I bought this track becasue the only time it has ever appeared on CD before, it has a fade out, rather than the cold ending that was on the vinyl release. I thought this digital offering might remedy the error. Well, it didn't. In fact, it actually makes it far worse! The sound begins with a few seconds of THE END of some other live song that isn't even on this collection. Then there is a silent gap, followed by the beginning of LPWM. The beginning is edited and does not include the audience sounds before the music starts. Then, the ending is still the dreadful fade, but it is actually loud enough to audibly hear the end of the rap cut off before the last line. It's so dumb and wrong and terrible. Seek this track out on vinyl. It's the only way to truly appreciate it. It's on the B-Side of the "I Can't Stand The Rain" European 12" single. Instead of a fade, it segues seamlessly into a live version of "Nutbush City Limits". If you're a Tina fan and like this track, it's worth hearing it the right way!

Tina Turner has always been about the music and performance vs today's celebrity who is focused on the life of celebrity.

Basically tracks 18 through 22 are not mastered propoerly, the last couple seconds of track 18 is found at the beginning of track 19 and the last couple seconds of track 19 is found at the beginning of track 20 and so on and so on Not sure who "remastered" this exactly but they should be fired for making such a glaringly obvious mistake, and shame on iTunes for not quality checking the albums they make available to the public So glad I listened to the samples before purchasing this one . . . but if that problem gets fixed then this album would be an excellent addition to any music library
  • Blessed love

Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the "color" of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental pieces, solely vocal pieces (such as songs without instrumental accompaniment) and pieces that combine singing and instruments. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike; "(art) of the Muses"); see § Etymology and glossary of musical terminology.

Music can be divided into genres (e.g., country music) and genres can be further divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop country are two of the many country subgenres), although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to personal interpretation, and occasionally controversial. For example, it can be hard to draw the line between some early 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Within the arts, music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art or as an auditory art. Music may be played or sung and heard live at a rock concert or orchestra performance, heard live as part of a dramatic work (a music theater show or opera), or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, MP3 player, CD player, smartphone or as film score or TV show.
